Outpost Transmission - (2 weeks) Feb. 1 - Feb. 14 2026

The last two weeks have been full throttle.

We have moved from basic infrastructure into visible evolution. Categories are deepening. Tables are being used. Events are forming identity. The Outpost is starting to feel like what it was meant to be.

The Sign Is Almost Here

Installation is scheduled for next week. This is a milestone. The Outpost will become unmistakable from the road.

Events Gaining Momentum

Free Paint Fridays continue to grow. If you have been thinking about starting mini painting, this is a low pressure way to try the hobby. We will help you find the right path and get started.

Structured Paint Classes are beginning to form, starting with beginner-friendly sessions like Introduction to Warhammer. We believe in inclusive play and crafting, and we welcome hobbyists of all experience levels.

MTG Events are organizing properly under WPN structure. More on that below.

The Game Table has become what we hoped. Players are coming in on a mission, setting up, and playing. Browsing the store afterward. Enjoying the space.

That is the culture we want.

Warhammer & Games Workshop

Warhammer is here and properly supported.

We now carry core products, with more units and sourcebooks arriving steadily. Demo table play has already begun.

Recent sightings:

  • Mortarion and Fulgrim on the table
  • Necrons joining local collections
  • Khorne forces quietly assembling in the back

As players who have painted, played, and absorbed the lore of Warhammer and Games Workshop for decades, we consider Warhammer a foundational pillar of the shop.

Our plans include continued expansion of both product depth and gameplay opportunities across the GW universe.

Magic: The Gathering & WPN Acceptance

We have officially been accepted into the Wizards Play Network, and we are excited to represent organized play for Magic: The Gathering and Dungeons & Dragons.

This means structured events, sanctioned play, and access to official support moving forward.

Commander nights are forming.
Prize support is being refined.
Judge certification conversations are already underway.

We are entering the organized play scene deliberately and with intent to provide a strong new option in the local community.

Avatar Collector Pack Moment

One of the unexpected highlights this week was an Avatar Collector box opened in-store.

Good pulls. Big smiles. Cards immediately sleeved.

It was a reminder that sealed product is not just inventory. It is experience.

Expect to see some of these Collector packs appear as event prize support soon. We may also open a couple for in-store content.

We have a limited number available for serious collectors. Stop by and ask about them.

Wasteland Workshop & Fallout: Factions

Sessions 3 and 4 are complete.

The blog posts are still in progress, but we captured a lot of photos and content.

Terrain is evolving.
Paint is improving.
Actual play has begun.

The Pack and The Operators squared off in our first Factions match. The Pack won the day and drove back the Operators, but a great deal was learned about flow and strategy in the skirmish system.

It was a strong start, and we look forward to integrating Fallout into our rotating demo lineup.

Battle for Boston is the next milestone. Additional units and books are inbound.

If you have been watching from a distance, now is a good time to step in.

What’s Coming Next

  • Full exterior signage
  • Expanded Warhammer selection
  • More structured event calendar publishing
  • Focused giveaway at the Combat Patrol or Spearhead level, details soon
  • Demo table refinement
  • Continued infrastructure tightening behind the scenes

The Outpost is not trying to be loud. It is trying to be legitimate. Over the last two weeks, it has taken a real step forward. If you have visited recently, thank you. If you have not yet, come see what we are building.
